New York, NY — LearningMate, a leading education technology company, announced today that the Museum of Science, Boston, one of the world’s largest science centers, has launched their online, interactive STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) curriculum products as part of its EiE® curriculum group, using LearningMate’s Frost Enterprise Learning Content Management System (LCMS).
The Museum of Science, Boston develops exhibits, programs, and curricula that empower children to become lifelong STEM learners and passionate problem solvers. By using Frost, the Museum is leveraging a suite of integrated products, including the Course Designer to author courses, the Learning Object Repository (LOR) to manage digital content and taxonomies, and a Learning Management System (LMS) to deliver the online courses. Frost allows EiE to support teachers with digital online curriculum products for engineering and computer science, while offering extensive flexibility in implementing EiE products, simplifying roster management, and supporting online instruction through a teaching and learning experience for students in grades preK-12. Leveraging Frost also enables the Museum to overcome the challenges posed by paper-based instructional materials, such as shipping products individually to teachers and limitations in updating content resulting from changes in the STEM curriculum.
