LearningMate ACE was designed to satisfy the needs of customers who wanted to provide dynamic content that adapted to individual student needs using diagnostic assessments through their existing LMS platform. The need also included the ability to add new assessment and question types to the system without having to change the currently used LMS platform. LearningMate identified the following additional requirements based on customer interactions: |

- Create and manage course content and assessments independent of the LMS
- Support for additional question types and different types of assessments
- Deploy the online course through the LMS with the facility to report the score back to the LMS grade book
- Deploy portions of the online course through the LMS, giving more control to instructors to organize the course as and when required
- Allow instructors and students to access deployed courses, independent of an LMS system if required, using a customer’s existing authentication system
- Allow multiple course deployment on an LMS with a single source
- Update the online course content at a single location to reflect the changes across all the instances of the course in LMS
- Capture additional question and usage related data for customers to perform instructional value analysis – this could be used to fine tune the assessments
