Presented by the Special Education Leadership Panel

As an extension to our first webinar on remote learning, where we gathered the concerns from the education community, LearningMate is hosting a special education leadership panel that will focus on helping teachers and school administration tackle the unique needs of special education students in a remote learning environment.

Join us Wednesday, May 20th at 3:00 p.m. ET to discuss the issues that concern special education teachers and learn from our special education experts on how they are helping their students and teachers overcome these unique challenges.

What to expect:

We’ll answer questions from educators of special education and special needs students that are working hard to meet the needs of their students virtually. You’ll walk away from this workshop with ideas, strategies, and next steps that ESS Leads can take to support their community.

What we will cover:

Instructional Support

  • How to provide differentiated instructions to fit the needs of all students
  • How to provide learning to preschool special education
  • How to navigate student privacy, accommodations, and specialized instruction needed to meet learning needs
  • How to support/teach special needs students remotely, both with IEP goal work and with general education class work
